A few quick updates for you:
- research was conducted to figure out what kind of charity/foundation we want to be and the legal stuff has started. It's a long process to become a 501(c)3 but we have a lawyer who is doing all the work pro-bono and it's all in the works now. The foundation will be set up to assist young widows/widowers with little children (more specific details to come).
- we have also begun work on a new website for the foundation, the hope is to eventually move this blog over there so all of our info can be in one central location. Hopefully we'll have something small up and running in the next week or so. I will let you know when we are in business.
- we are planning to do another 5K next September along with a more formal Gala dinner type event the same weekend. We will let you know when the date has been decided on so you can all plan ahead.
- if you are on facebook we have started a Liz Logelin foundation group, if you would like to join just search for Liz Logelin in groups and request to join.

You ladies are amazing. I hope to help when you firm up the plans. We were able to be a part of the fund raising for the foster children, so I will be anxious to hear what all is in the works. Happy New Year to you all, Rachel, I am in awe how many have stepped to the plate to help a perfect stanger to most of us.
